PREFund & Recess are collaborating to host regular gatherings for new parents. If you are interested in making new friends and learning from other parents in the community, please join us. In these hour long groups, new mamas and papas are invited to connect with other parents and collaborate to work through questions and struggles.
Baby Sign Language (0-18 months)
single intro class & 6 week playgroup series
Happy Baby Signs baby sign language series is a fun way to build your signing vocabulary and skills with themes like mealtime, animals, colors, family, bedtime, and more.
Learn the basics in an introductory class, and expand your repertoire (and get to know other babies) in the 6 week playgroup Baby Sign Language series.
Moderated Playgroups (0-4 yrs)
fridays 3:30 - 6pm / free for members or $15
Amanda Hyer, child development guru, builds relationships with parents helping them learn to trust themselves and their children’s innate and learned abilities so the whole family develops a deep connection based on observation, collaboration and respect. Playgroup occurs in the playspace.
Working Parents Playgroup
one saturday a month 10am - noon / $15
Being a working parent has unique challenges. Amanda will be available to brainstorm solutions to some of your challenges. This informal playgroup will be available to any age child. We will have a general topic each week, but the questions you bring take priority!
