kids classes: messy art, spanish thru fun, music, move it & groove it, fun with food, kids CRAFT & more! In addition to the learning that happens in the playspace, recess offers children a variety of opportunities for more structured learning through kids classes. Classes open to members & non members. coming up: FEBRUARY Thursday 2/12: Yuumii parent/child adventure hour- Valentines Art Workshop, 7:30pm Friday 2/12: Language Development and Your Infant (3-9 mo) Learn what the milestones are, and how to help your baby develop language through games, songs & play. 12 noon (bring baby!) Tuesday 2/23, Parent Workshop - Learn to Identify Your Child’s Personality & Motivations 7:30pm MARCH Saturday, 3/20: New Financial You - A Fresh Look at Your Finances, 11am Monday, 3/22: Helping Toddlers (& their parents) Sleep, 7:30pm ON-GOING: Tuesdays at 4:30pm: Art Discoveries. Ages 2-4 get a chance to explore paint, play doh & drawing week to week in this process-oriented class. Fridays at 11:15am: Move & Play! Alongside your 18-36, you’ll master that Tree pose, dance your heart out & have fun, all while developing those critical motor skills. Saturdays at 11am, Spanish PlayCircle! learn spanish with your tot, ages 12mo-36mo. parent education: Recess hosts lectures by a variety of local professionals in an effort to provide support through education. Learn from local pediatricians, nutritionists, sleep consultants, psychologists, and others. Most workshops are in the evenings or on saturday mornings. taking care of yourself: Do you need break? Are you ready to get into shape? What do you do when they...?
