drop off camps see the full schedule here  Need a little break this summer?  Want to help your budding preschooler get prepared for the big transition?  Just looking for something enriching and inspiring for your child to do?   Recess has teamed up with Slippery Fish Co-op teacher Nicki McGrath to create a memorable, fun, exciting summer camp for children ages 3-4. Consider giving your child the chance to practice ongoing socialization and separation while participating in special summer activities while you get a little break just for you. Each week of camp will offer a planned curriculum designed to stimulate your child's imagination and sense of play. Like your own summer memories, these weeks will be filled with special activities for warm weather, like outdoor water fun from simple bubbles to pipe building and ball chutes. Plus all varieties of art, smoothie making and cooking, dancing and yoga, dramatic play with pretend grocery shopping, tent building and restaurant play and even a visit from some creepy crawlers and musical guests! Sign up for the entire session or just one week at a time (priority will be given then to those registering for the entire session).  You may even be able to drop in a few days a week or even once and a while (cost for this is $48/day).  Whatever your schedule preferences, please email signups@recessurbanrecreation.com and we'll see how we can fit you in. how camps work: Pre-registration is required; Camps are open to members first, and if space allows, they're open to non-members Camps run Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Fridays throughout the summer.
